Ethos and Values
At St. Teresa’s, we endeavour to help each child to develop spiritually, socially, aesthetically and academically; to make school a place where children can learn to work and play together and accept responsibility for making choices whilst growing together daily in the knowledge and love of God and the teaching of the Church: and in all things to give witness to Christ.
LIVING, LEARNING, GROWING IN JESUS
1. Treat every person with equality of esteem and the respect and dignity due to a child of God.
2. Strive for all pupils regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, religious belief, sexual
orientation, socio-economic background to achieve the highest possible standards in their
learning, make good progress and to be committed to closing the gap of attainment for all
vulnerable groups of pupils.
3. Strive to achieve equality of opportunity for all, adults and pupils, regardless of age, gender,
ethnicity, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation, socio-economic background.
