Extra Curricular Club EYFS & KS1

From the Autumn term in Reception onwards, parents can take the option to enrol children in small group extra curricular classes with the La Jolie Ronde programme.  As younger children acquire language very effectively by ear, these  classes are almost exclusively based around speaking and understanding French.  The benefits are shared even with children who haven’t attended lessons by the positive view of language learning and  also because these children become confident speakers in the class, setting an example for others and raising standards within the class group.  Free places are also offered to disadvantaged pupils in KS2 who are identified as likely to benefit.
