The Year of the Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
The Holy Father has announced that 2025 will be a Jubilee Year, something which happens every 25 years. The theme for Jubilee 2025 is “Pilgrims of Hope,” and it will be a year of hope for a world suffering the impacts of war, the ongoing effects of COVID-19 pandemic, and the climate crisis.
Launch Assembly
We gathered as a school community, to launch the Year of Jubilee.
Class Assembly
3 Blue treated us all to an amazing class assembly based on Pilgrims of Prayer where they showed us how they embed this into their daily lives. They also gave every parent the gift of prayer secretly placed under their chairs.
Class Assembly
2 Yellow performed their class assembly with the theme of ‘Pilgrims of Hope’. They shared the message beautifully.
Racial Justice Sunday
Powerful reflections from our children on #RacialJusticeSunday. Together, we stand against discrimination, embrace equality, and journey towards justice. Let’s break barriers and build a world of unity and hope.

Jubliee Mass Harrow Schools'
After attending the inspiring Jubilee Year of Hope Mass at St Joseph’s Church—where Catholic schools from across Harrow gathered in faith and celebration—we were honoured to receive special plaques to mark the occasion. The Mass reminded us of the importance of hope, community, and our shared journey in faith. Following the service, we began a pilgrimage walk back to our school, joined by St George’s. Along the way, we took turns leading the procession, symbolising our unity and shared mission as “pilgrims of hope.” As we walked, we reflected, prayed, and connected with one another in a peaceful and meaningful way, carrying the message of hope with us every step of the journey.
Jubilee Pledge
At St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery, we are proud to be pilgrims of hope, committed to building a fairer world where every person and the earth can flourish. Guided by our Jubilee Pledge 2025, we walk in solidarity with our global family, striving to be agents of change through justice, love, and peace. We recognise the dignity of every person, care for our common home, and work together with CAFOD and Caritas to put love into action. Through charitable fundraising, environmental initiatives, and community outreach, we nurture faith, compassion, and social responsibility in all that we do, making a positive impact locally, nationally, and globall
Festival of Hope
Pupils and staff from our school recently took part in the inspiring Festival of Hope at Westminster Cathedral on the 24th June 2025, a celebration filled with faith, music, reflection, and a powerful call to action.
In his moving address, Cardinal Vincent Nichols reminded us all:
“Those who want to go to heaven must treat the world best.”
This message resonated deeply, especially in today’s world. As pilgrims of hope, we are encouraged to journey together—caring for creation, standing in solidarity with one another, and bringing light wherever there is darkness.
The Festival reminded us that hope is not just a feeling, but a mission. Whether it’s protecting the environment, helping those in need, or showing kindness in small daily acts, we are all invited to live with purpose and compassion.
Thank you to everyone who made this day so special! Let’s continue to be signs of hope—in our school, our community, and our world.

CAFOD Pilgrims of Hope Assembly and Workshops July 2025
Pilgrims of Hope Workshop with CAFOD July 2025
We were delighted to welcome representatives from CAFOD Schools to our school today. Year 3 pupils took part in an inspiring Pilgrims of Hope workshop, where they learned how our collective donations can make a real difference around the world.
The children thoroughly enjoyed coming together in their vibrant Pilgrims of Hope colours, showing their support for this important cause. It was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to reflect on the impact of giving and to celebrate the values of hope and solidarity.
Thank you to CAFOD Schools for leading such a meaningful session and helping us understand the power of compassion and generosity.
